ever read the wheel of time by robert jordan?
great fantasy series...anyhow--in the story, the dark
lord uses these dark hounds like any normal person
would...as a means of tracking down
your enemies--and killing
them, of course! ...just my interpretation, though.
i'd really like to get around to doing more designs
for the WoT, but i'm never quite happy with
how they turn out...

i like the ideas you have for the darkhounds....but i too think there are a lot more variations that could be played with. just keep 'em comin'.

Again, I'll have to agree with Jeremy here and say keep trying different variations. Since the darkhounds were made from wolves and there are a myriad of wolves, it makes sense that there can be myriad forms of darkhounds. Try one that is thicker.

Dude,

I am a HUGE WoT fan. Your drawings bring the story to life like nothing else I have seen. Please keep them coming. AWESOME!

Great drawing. I started re-reading the series. I was thinking that dark hounds would look more like a black mastiff rather than wolfish... but the wolves do call them "Shadowbrothers" so I guess wolfish can work too. Maybe I'm just afraid more of a mastiff type dog, but I'm just babling at this point. Great drawing by the way.

i like the drawing, however i think that the book describes them as much more muscular than that. it kinda looks like a runt that's starving in the streets.

if he was looking down and away more like shame or regret i would like him a lot more cause he would portray a actual sin in my opinion and we all like to portray those

I love your drawings. Your style is superb and I rate most of your WoT as next to perfect for accuracy but I too think that dark hounds are a thicker your impression. I agree with H that mastiff would be closer to the books.

Please keep drawing WoT.
